Q. Can adults have a Pony Ride?
A. No - The Pony rides are for children only. There is a height restriction on the Pony Ride, and the final decision is taken by our qualified member of staff leading the pony. There are also other factors to be taken into consideration such as weight and special needs.
Q. Do children under the age of 2 years have to pay to enter the Park?
A. No - children under the age of 2 years are free.
Q. Can I take my wheelchair onto the Tractor Tour trailer?
A. There is a ramp leading up to the trailer level which can be accessed by wheelchairs. However the disabled person must then be able to leave their wheelchair to walk onto the trailer to actually take the tour.
Q. Do children under the age of 2 years have to pay £10.00 if invited to a birthday party?
A. No - Children under the age of 2 years do not have to pay entry to the ‘Animal Park’, and are free to go on the Tractor Tour. But of course any food purchased in the ‘Hungry Horse Café’ would be chargeable.
Q. Do children under the age of 2 years have to pay to go on any of the Rides?
A. There are height restrictions on certain rides. If a child under 2 years of age is able to participate in a ride then he/she is chargeable (excluding the Tractor Tour which is free for the under 2’s).
Q. Do I have to book in advance to bring a group?
A. Yes - all groups have to be booked in advance - please telephone (01244) 531147
Q. Do parents have to pay admittance to the Park when accompanying a birthday party?
A. For birthday parties there is one free adult place for every 5 paying children.
Q. Do I have to pay a deposit when booking a birthday party, or to come camping?
A. Yes. A £25.00 deposit is required to book a birthday party, and a £30.00 deposit to book a camping pitch.
Q. Are any deposits refundable if I have to cancel a booking?
A. No - unfortunately no deposits are refundable.
Q. Are there any discounts for carers?
A. Yes - we offer 1 free adult admission for every 5 paying children/adults.
Q. Do you do any yearly season tickets?
A. No - unfortunately we don’t have any yearly season tickets available.
Q. Are any of the animals available to purchase?
A. Occasionally some of the animals are available to buy - these include chickens and ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs, puppies and kittens, shetland ponies and donkeys, and various other animals. Please give us a call on (01244) 531147 for further information.
Q. Do you offer any work experience placements?
A. We do offer work experience placements from agricultural colleges but it must be a minimum 7 week placement. |
