Welcome to Greenacres Animal Park

Discover and explore the only zoo in Flintshire!

Greenacres Animal Park is a small, family run zoo, just over the border into North Wales. The park is the only zoo in Flintshire, and is home to over 50 different species of both exotic and farm animals, Throughout the year there are different aspects available, from tractor rides in the summer, our Santa's grotto in the Winter, and baby animals all year around! We also have a indoor soft play area and outdoor play area available, and a café with an array of hot and cold food. 

As an extra special activity, or maybe a gift for a loved one, visitors can also book one of our animal encounters, keeper for the days, birthday parties and much more. 

Greenacres is less than a mile off the A494, easily accessible for a fun filled visit! The park is just 5 miles from Chester and 15 miles from Liverpool

What animals can we see at the park?

We have a variety of animals including exotic birds, reptiles, and mammals. Check our 'Meet our animals' page for a full list!.

Can I bring my dog?

UNFORTUNATLEY NOT, WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS ON SITE.

We house a number of canid and prey species that are put at risk by visiting dogs. 
Licensed Service Dogs are permitted with proof of status and vaccination record. 

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT RECOGNISED SERVICE DOGS UNDER THE EQUALITY ACT 2010 AND ARE NOT PERMITTED ON SITE. 

How can I book a Touring caravan or Glamping stay?

Are there any special events coming up?

Why can’t I book GOLD tickets on certain days?

Our GOLD activities are run at weekends, school holidays and bank holidays only. 
We do not offer these activities on Thursdays and Fridays outside of school holiday. 
Our tickets are maintained in house and regularly updated. 

When are you open?

Why haven’t I received booking confirmation for my experience?

When you book an experience at Greenacres Animal Park you will select your preferred date and time and then press "Send Request". 
This is because we are a very small team and need to ensure we have suitable staff and resources to facilitate your experience. Your booking request will be sent to our office staff under "Pending" and we have 7 days either to accept or contact you with an alternative before you are automatically refunded.
