What animals can we see at the park?

We have a variety of animals including exotic birds, reptiles, and mammals. Check our 'Meet our animals' page for a full list!.

Can I bring my dog?

UNFORTUNATLEY NOT, WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS ON SITE.

We house a number of canid and prey species that are put at risk by visiting dogs. 
Licensed Service Dogs are permitted with proof of status and vaccination record. 

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT RECOGNISED SERVICE DOGS UNDER THE EQUALITY ACT 2010 AND ARE NOT PERMITTED ON SITE. 

How can I book a Touring caravan or Glamping stay?

You can book a stay in our Touring & Glamping park directly through our website or contact us via email for assistance.

Are there any special events coming up?
Yes, we host several events throughout the year! Check our events page for the latest updates.

Why can’t I book GOLD tickets on certain days?

Our GOLD activities are run at weekends, school holidays and bank holidays only. 
We do not offer these activities on Thursdays and Fridays outside of school holiday. 
Our tickets are maintained in house and regularly updated. 

When are you open?

We also update our opening times regularly on Google and on our home page. 

Why haven’t I received booking confirmation for my experience?

When you book an experience at Greenacres Animal Park you will select your preferred date and time and then press "Send Request". 
This is because we are a very small team and need to ensure we have suitable staff and resources to facilitate your experience. Your booking request will be sent to our office staff under "Pending" and we have 7 days either to accept or contact you with an alternative before you are automatically refunded.

Off Peak (February - April)

Mon-Fri: CLOSED
Sat-Sun: 10.30am-4.00pm

February Half Term: Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat & Sun: 10:30am - 4:00pm

On Peak TERM TIME (April - September)

Mon-Wed: CLOSED

Thurs-Fri: 10:30am-4:30pm

Sat-Sun: 10.30am-5pm

On Peak sCHOOL hOLIDAYs (April - September)

Sometimes in extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain, high winds and snow, Greenacres Animal Park will be closed.

If you are planning to visit the park and are unsure of the weather conditions please give us a call on 01244 531147 in the morning to check on our opening times. This situation is rare, but we would rather you knew than travel a long distance only to be disappointed.
